The Grand UpperRoom is a boutique wedding venue in Katy, Texas, serving couples across Katy and West Houston who want their day to feel intentional rather than industrial. Two distinguished suites sit under one roof: the Eden Suite, our premier signature space with soaring ceilings and a private bridal suite, and the Bethel Suite, our warmer, more intimate room. Whether you are planning a seated dinner for 90 or a cocktail-style reception for 100, the celebration is designed around your guest list, not squeezed into someone else’s template.
Two Suites, One Wedding Story
Most Katy wedding venues give you one room and a time slot. The Grand UpperRoom gives you a choice. The Eden Suite is the celebration room: 2,800 square feet total with a 1,360 sq ft main ballroom, a crystal chandelier, a private bridal suite, and space for 90 guests with a full dance floor. The Bethel Suite is the gathering room: 1,800 square feet total with a 1,354 sq ft main ballroom of warmth, ideal for intimate ceremonies, rehearsal dinners, and receptions of up to 80 with a dance floor. The Grand Union Wedding
For the once-in-a-lifetime celebration that deserves the entire venue. Sixteen hours of dedicated access across both suites: morning ceremony in the Bethel Suite, full-day reception in the Eden Suite, a seamless transition under one roof. Every Elite feature is included, from premium buffet and custom cake to DJ, photo booth, and florals. On Sundays, Bethel availability begins at 2:00 PM.

How many guests can The Grand UpperRoom host for a wedding?
The Eden Suite seats 90 with a dance floor or 100 in cocktail layout; each suite has a maximum capacity of 99 occupants. The Grand Union Wedding combines both suites for larger celebrations.
Is there a bridal suite?
Yes. The Eden Suite includes a private bridal suite for preparation and quiet moments, plus a flex room for staging, gifts, or vendors.
Can we hold the ceremony and reception in one place?
Yes. The Grand Union Wedding provides sixteen hours of access across both suites: morning ceremony in Bethel, full-day reception in Eden. On Sundays, Bethel availability begins at 2:00 PM.
